Paddlefest May 26-29, 2017

Paddlefest in the Buena Vista area is coming quickly.
May 26-29, 2017.

The annual Paddlefest Beginner Trip will be Saturday May 27th. If you are a beginner and you've attended the beginners trips, you should be ready for the Milk run. Also, the beginner trip is a club sponsored event, so if you are not a member you can't go due to liability. So if you have not renewed your membership please do so ASAP.

In the past club members have camped the night before at Turtle Rock campground or at Ruby Mountain Campground or carpooled from the Colo Spgs area the morning of the trip. We will be meeting promptly at Ruby Mountain Campground Saturday the 27th at 9:30am and making shuttle arrangements to take as few vehicles to the put in at Johnson Village. In the past a few boaters have run Brown's Canyon, after the Milk Run, this is not a club sponsored trip, and should only be done if you have the stills to boat class III and IV.

Please contact Craig Forbes if you will be attending as a beginner or as a support boater:
